Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled
The Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled, previously named the Hong Kong Sports Association for the Physically Disabled, was established in 1972. As a National Paralympic Committee, the Association is authorized to select Hong Kong Team members to participate in the major multi-sport games such as Paralympic Games, Asian Para Games and competitions which are sanctioned by international sports federations. The Association is devoted to develop and promote disabled sports, as well as enabling local disabled athletes to achieve sporting excellence.
