The Community Chest Wheelock Swim for Millions 2019

“The Community Chest Wheelock Swim for Millions 2019” is a splashy, fun-filled day with different relay and individual races to raise funds for Youth Services provided by the Chest's welfare agencies. Besides promoting open water swimming for public to lead a healthy lifestyle, the Organiser will also arrange various game booths, bouncy castle and sand castles building workshop on the beach, making it an enjoyable Sunday for all.

Donations raised through the event will be allocated in full to support the Youth Services provided by the Chest's welfare agencies, including after-school care services, sports activities for youth-at-risk, adventure-based training program, leadership training program and counselling program etc., to support and care for the youth in Hong Kong with a holistic array of services and personal growth programs.

Race Details

I) Relay Races

  A) Corporate
      Ai) Corporate + 10 quotas of Swim for Fun (Each team to raise at least HK$38,000 or above)
      Aii) Corporate + 30 quotas of Swim for Fun (Each team to raise at least HK$45,000 or above)
       Each member should complete 250M swim + run towards Relay Zone for handoff / Finish Point

  B) Disciplined Forces (Each team to raise at least HK$35,000 or above)
      Each member should complete 250M swim + run towards Relay Zone for handoff / Finish Point

  C) School (Each team to raise at least HK$20,000 or above)
      Each member should complete 250M swim + run towards Relay Zone for handoff / Finish Point

   *At least one member in the Corporate Relay Team must be the employee of respective organisation

II) Family Relay Race (Each team to raise at least HK$2,500 or above)
   1st leg：250M    2nd leg：500M
   A team of two family members in relay

III) Leaders' Lap (Each leader to raise at least HK$25,000 or above)
     Each leader should complete 250M swim + run towards Finish Point

IV) Golden Kilometre Race (Each participant to raise at least HK$450 or above)
     Each participant should complete 250M swim + run on beach and then repeat for 3 times to finish the race

***(Non-race)  Swim for Fun  (Each participant to raise at least HK$450 or above )
    Each participant will complete a 100M swim in a designated area 
    No timing and just for fun! Bring your favourite floaties!
   *Participants under 12 years old should be accompanied by parent / guardian during the swim and extra HK$450 is required to be raised. (i.e. HK$900 or above)

About The Community Chest of Hong Kong
The Community Chest of Hong Kong is an independent, non-profit making organisation neither funded, nor operated by the Government.

Its goal
to work for the betterment of Hong Kong through the support by millions.
